How the math works

Concentration is the peptide in the vial divided by the water you add. A 10 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water holds 5 mg (5,000 mcg) per mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 mL is 100 units, so each unit carries 50 mcg. To draw 250 mcg you would pull 5 units.

The amount field is blank on purpose. This site does not suggest amounts. The Ipamorelin page lists what published studies used.

Common questions

How much bacteriostatic water should I add to a Ipamorelin vial?

There is no single correct volume. More water makes each unit carry less peptide, which makes small amounts easier to measure; less water keeps volumes small. Most people pick a volume that puts their amount between 5 and 50 units on a U-100 syringe.

What does U-100 mean?

U-100 insulin syringes are marked in units where 100 units equals 1 mL. So 10 units is 0.1 mL regardless of what is in the syringe. Peptide calculators use this scale because insulin syringes are what is widely available in Philippine pharmacies.

Does the calculator work for mg and mcg?

Yes. 1 mg equals 1,000 mcg. Switch the unit next to the amount field and the result updates.
